Dr. Ioannis G. Theodorakis (PhD, Athens University of Economics and Business) is an Assistant Professor-Researcher in Marketing at INSEEC Grande École INSEEC U. in Paris, France. Also, he is a visiting affiliated Professor at Universidad de las Américas Puebla (UDLAP) in Mexico.
His research interests encompass topics such as the use and effects of visual and verbal advertising rhetoric; the impact of employed taboos and controversy in promotion communication; and the investigation of human reactions to marketing stimuli dependent upon experienced psychological states. In addition, Dr. Theodorakis’ research concentrates on the conceptual nature as well as the business dynamics of applied marketing strategic orientations. His work has been published in scientific outlets such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, International Journal of Advertising, and Corporate Reputation Review; as well as in various research proceedings of renowned academic bodies (e.g., American Marketing Association, European Marketing Academy, and European Academy of Management among others).
